Review about the Premium Tenga Original Vacuum Cup

After the Tenga🦊 Original Vacuum Cup🦊, it’s time for the Premium🛒version to come under the microscope. I’m still convinced that disposable toys are an ecological aberration… But even if you’ve received the product, you might as well get something constructive out of it. Maybe this will give some people an idea.

This was one of the sex toys, among the disposables, sent out by Tenga at the end of 2023. This toy had wisely remained in the box of sex toys (and lubricants🦊) awaiting their turn before I wrote its review. I can’t wait to review the Flip Zero EV🛒but that’s for another day.

This review may be more succinct than the previous one, as the foundations have already been laid with the review of the Original Vacuum Cup, and I’ll be focusing mainly on the differences.

Premium Tenga Original Vacuum Cup

360° view of the Premium Tenga Original Vacuum Cup.

As with the previous article, talking about “Premium Tenga Original Vacuum Cup” is long. And I don’t like it. Tenga’s sexy little name for this sextoy is “TOC-201PT”. Well, in real life, that’s not a sexy reference… But that won’t stop me talking about TOC-PT for the sake of brevity in this article.

This sextoy is a disposable penis masturbator. Its use is manual only although ultimately there’s nothing to stop it being used with the Handy🦊…. We owe this compatibility to this sextoy’s light weight (154 grams) and hourglass shape.

In short, the idea is to be able to insert your penis onto one end of this cup. Bearing in mind that one is made of TPE🦊 and the other is only a millimetre long, I’ll let you guess which one I’m referring to. Once you’ve found the right extremity, you’ll be able to plunge your hard member into a soft, textured sheath that feels very different to the wrist widow.

Receipt of parcel

Although very bulky, the parcel that came to me straight from Tokyo gave no indication of its contents. This will certainly differ from your experience, because depending on your country, you will be delivered from a nearby warehouse. I doubt that Tokyo was the closest warehouse to France! However, it only took a week for the parcel to cross 10,000 kilometres.

In any case, it was a perfectly ordinary parcel, albeit reinforced and given the number of toys it contained. Is this the case for all parcels sent by Tenga? I don’t know, but in my case it was a good idea.

Appearance of the Premium Tenga Original Vacuum Cup

The iconic hourglass shape is still there, but in different colours. Here it’s royal blue with gold stripes.

This object is a little heavier, weighing 154 grams instead of the 122 grams previously. However, it is still 15 centimetres high and 7 centimetres wide. The difference in weight can therefore be explained by the different materials inside.

We’re still using white polyethylene (PE) for the hourglass-shaped hard case. This material is hard enough to keep its original shape, but if you apply enough pressure, the plastic deforms and then repositions itself. Simplifying it in this way might be an aberration, but unlike ABS, this is a cheaper, less durable plastic, but for single-use toys it’s perfectly adequate.

This case is surrounded by a blue and gold plastic film with various legible markings.

There’s nothing too wild about the text, but it’s slightly different from the other Tenga Original Cup. Particularly the mention of “Master’s Craft Edition”.

The TOC-PT is always pre-lubricated. It talks about “Luxurious improvement of materials and sensations”. This is followed by recommendations and limitations in English, French, German and Spanish.

According to Tenga, the improvement involves using an elastomer sheath that is 1.5 times thicker than the standard model. We’ll see when we dissect the sextoy.

Preparing TOC-PT

There’s always this sticker at the top of the case, allowing you to play with the presence or absence of a vacuum in the casing. Removing it gives access to a hole that opens onto a foam. This allows air to escape from the sheath when the penis is inserted. Then, by plugging the hole with your index finger, you create a suction force during withdrawal.

At the bottom, a plastic pull tab allows you to remove a few centimetres of the blue film. Once completely removed, the cap can be removed to expose the insertable part of the sheath.

Just like the other Tenga Original Cups, it’s pre-lubricated. However, I learned today that the lubricant used for the ring and the inside of the sheath are different. I have no idea why and I haven’t contacted Tenga about this, not sure it makes much difference to our case.

Still on the subject of lubrication, this is provided by a foam disc overloaded with lubricant. With each movement, this will release a little of the liquid to improve the sensations.

TOC textures

360° of the internal texture of the sheath

There are great similarities, but just as many differences. Textures are abundant and varied. Of course, in the video above, I’ve ‘flipped’ the sheath so that the internal textures are on the outside for you to see.

As with the previous model, there’s a hole in the top where the tassel sits. According to the answer I received from Tenga at the time, this hole is used to control air intake into the sheath.

From top to bottom, we have various textures. A protuberance like a raspberry with lots of pearls, a crown of smooth pearls, four crowns of pearls each containing three small balls except for the lowest crown which contains only one. On the same level, there’s also a raised area made up of lots of small pearls. Then there are three rows of striations, giving way to five rows of picots, and finally a row of diagonal striations.

Dismantling the Premium Tenga Original Vacuum Cup

This toy is disposable after a single use. So the reason I’m showing you the components here is more to satisfy your curiosity than anything else. You can’t rebuild it afterwards, even if you wash and replace the parts. That would mean being able to glue the TPE sheath back to the PE case.

The TPE sheath (on the right), which was rather thin in the standard model, is now thicker. And this really makes a difference, because you can feel the textures better.

In the middle, from top to bottom, are the two foam circles to manage suction, between the top of the case and the sheath. At the very bottom is the ring with the four notches, completely soaked in lubricant. Finally, the bottom cap.

On the far left, you have the PE case and the foam that covers the whole inside, between the sheath and the case. It gives a soft consistency, rather than the hardness of PE. This saves on TPE, so you don’t have to fill the whole sheath with it.

Cleaning

This toy is simply not washable or reusable. What’s more, TPE is a porous material. Don’t make the mistake of using it for vaginal or anal sex on a dildo. Although TPE is an acceptable material for a penis, its micropores are a breeding ground for bacteria. Internally, it could do a lot of damage and cause infections.

The only cleaning advice I would give would be: recycle it close to home if possible. Yes… That’s not a cleaning advice! But then again… I told you it was disposable…

Use

Whether or not you’ve already had experience with a penis masturbator… You’ll have no trouble figuring out how to play with this one. To be honest, I doubt you’re here without any experience of masturbating with your hand. Well, it’s the same thing except that man has the ability to create objects to change his life. In this case, it’s a different way of giving yourself a hand job.

You can make the usual back-and-forth movements, and also control the angle to ‘force’ certain textures, such as the one at the end of the glans. You can also play with the sheath’s suction hole. However, be careful, it’s possible to plug it up before insertion, in which case the air will have no natural escape route. In this case, the air will not have a natural escape route, but will force itself on the weaker areas of the TPE (at the weld) to release and make a new hole.

Frankly, whether you have a large girth or not, you won’t have to worry about a thing. The sheath is retracted in on itself, so the sensations are there. For those with a larger penis, the foam will spread to leave a more than reasonable diameter available. The only concern could be the length, but there… The 15 centimetres are just right for the average size of erect penis in the world. At least the double pad will cushion the blow, not like the PowerBlow🦊screwed into the FeelPocket🦊.

The lubricant is gradually released through the small foam insert at the entrance. Once you’ve finished, you can close the cap and put the whole thing in the bin, or have it recycled if you know how.

The Handy

So, to start with: No, I didn’t do the test with The Handy. For the simple, idiotic (?) reason that I only thought of it when I was writing the review.

Except that the sheath… I’d already used it, dissected it… And, as I said, it’s not reusable.

However, I’ve already read, and you’ll be happy with this, that you can combine the two. Given the weight of the sheath, there’s no worry of the Handy overheating, so it’s still safe. And you can use this sextoy interactively, in front of a video.

First impressions

Clearly, since I tested the Tenga Original Cup, I’ve forgotten what it felt like. At the same time, that was almost six months ago and it’s a single-use toy, so… It’s hard to leave a trace in the memory of sensations. Still, using it in the middle of summer… I find this sextoy very fresh… certainly because of the lubricant but also because of the sheath itself.

Without managing suction

The Premium Tenga Original Cup can be used in two ways, with or without the lid, or small hole, to manage draughts. And that changes the game radically.

When I withdraw my penis, when I don’t put my finger over the hole left by the operculum, the sheath tries to hold my penis in place. It’s a bit like greedy lips trying to hold it in. And that’s nice.

Although this feeling is only on the glans part, because on the contrary, I have the impression that the sheath is trying to reject me on the extraction movements. To get me out as quickly as possible. It reminds me a bit of using the FeelButt Extra Tight🦊from Kiiroo🦊.

Managing suction

On the other hand, when I use this hole to let the air out first and then block it… Although the sheath generates more suction noise (and it’s not discreet), it also generates more movement, more tension in the sheath. Some deformation of the TPE (bubbles) appears as the air tries to escape.

The seal isn’t perfect, but the air still manages to escape and enter at the end. The TPE is too flexible to hold everything in, and the foam doesn’t help.

However, the sensations are indeed stronger and more present than with the basic model, and I believe this is possible because of the greater thickness of the sheath.

Availability

Buying a sextoy from a retailer means you can be sure of better customer service, particularly in the event of a faulty product during the warranty period. Here, the warranty… On a single-use sextoy, it’s not an argument.

Still, I prefer to go straight to the source, and since Tenga supplied me with this sextoy, I’m directing you to them. Logical, isn’t it?

As previously mentioned, the Premium Tenga Original Vacuum Cup🛒 is available for €11 from their online shop.

If you want to buy it, the link is just above.

I still don’t have a coupon code for Tenga. But if I find one, I’ll update this part of the article and the previous one on this brand.

Conclusion

Pros

  • A better feeling compared to the not Premium
  • Compatible with The Handy
  • Already lubricated

Cons

  • Always as noisy
  • Dispensable

I’m still bothered, as you’ll find out, about the ecological aspect of single-use toys. It’s true that testing low-cost sex toys allows you to form an opinion on various textures before buying something more durable. But isn’t it better to invest in something durable? The €9 version already seemed too expensive to me, and the €11 version is no exception.

The sheath’s textures provide enough stimulation and I’m thinking that washing the TPE and using it afterwards out of the sheath could be a solution to keep it in longer… But that would be a bad idea because you’d have to manage the pressure of the sheath on the penis to get the stimulation of these textures… or the sheath would simply stretch. And I’d like to avoid getting Death Grip Syndrome.

So yes, this product does what it says. It’s a different experience to using your hand to achieve orgasm. But I wouldn’t recommend it. It would be preferable to go for another product with materials that would hold up better over time, perhaps the Flip Zero?
