Following on from the Power of Love🦊review, here’s the Liebe 🛒 review of Love. not War. 🦊. The Liebe doesn’t work on its own, it’s an attachment, a head. And it is necessary to screw this part onto the Power of Love so that these two become one.
Are you looking for an eco-responsible sextoy? Possibly made of silicone so that it’s healthy for your body? Durable over time? Repairable if there’s a problem within two years, or exchangeable? Silicone so you can use a silicone-based lubricant🦊? A vibrator that will give you some good times under the duvet? Ticking a few boxes?
So give me a few minutes of your time to introduce you to this sextoy which, in my opinion, opens the door to another way of thinking about sex toys.
Liebe from Love. not War.
As you can see, the Liebe is orange in colour. Its curved shape suggests that it is designed to stimulate a specific area. An area no more than ten centimetres from the point of insertion.
Receipt of parcel
Shipping is from the UK. If and when you order, bear in mind that if you don’t live in the UK, there will be a customs tax. In my case, I was presented with a bill for an additional €13.60 to accept the parcel. However, this was the only bad surprise I had with the Liebe. In three days, the parcel could have been with me if I had paid the charges online as soon as I received the email.
As far as the parcel was concerned, it was a box whose capacity was well measured in relation to the contents, so there was no unnecessary loss of space. What’s more, the parcel was standard, with no gimmicks or visible logos. Love. not War. is seeking to achieve carbon-neutral delivery through a variety of actions, and you can find out more on a page of their website detailing their actions for the climate.
The set
No matter which item you order on the site, or at least no matter which head you buy, or Power of Love, the box is the same. It’s a single piece of cardboard in the form of a cobblestone pattern. In the same way that I could build dice at school as a child… Well, almost. The only difference between the packets of different products is a label stuck on to close the packet, indicating what’s inside.
The box is made from FSC-certified recycled cardboard, and the ink used is soy-based. The materials used to make the brand’s sex toys are manufactured locally, or recycled locally, using factories powered by green energy.
The result is a product that is safe for the user, safe for the environment and sustainable too.
I’m not going to go into detail about all the data inside and outside the box… but there’s a lot of it.
Information on the outside of the box
There are eight different heads that can go on the ‘Power of Love’, and they are Amore🛒, Kama🛒, Laska🛒, Liebe, Meile🛒, Grá🛒, Maya🛒and finally Koi🛒.
Next, the white label states that the ‘Liebe’ is a perfectly shaped vibrator for stimulating your G-spot and enjoying it again and again. It comes with a two-year guarantee and is made from neo-silicone (I’ll explain what that means below). Importantly, it’s compatible with silicone-based lubricants such as Überlube🦊… And that’s what introduced me to this brand.
The following is just a reminder that Love. not War. brand products are sold in two parts, the base being the Power of Love and a head, like the Liebe shown here. So don’t expect to get both parts when you buy just one box.
The last side shows a visual of the Liebe, 12 centimetres high and 4 centimetres wide, starting at one edge of the base and going to the end for the G-spot. A QR code takes you to the product page.
Information inside the box
(if you’re coming from the Power of Love page, I confess, I’ve simply cut and pasted this part so you can skip to the next section 😉 )
The first part is a quick-start guide. It explains how to switch on (press the button), switch off (press the button for 3 seconds) and charge the device. You’ll learn that two hours of charging will give you a steady LED and an hour of use, with the LED flashing when there’s only 10% of the battery left. Of the ten patterns, the first four can be used to manage different power levels. The next six will be used in pairs to manage waves, sawtooth and slots.
The next side explains in words what was previously explained in pictures. It also explains how to clean the toy (especially the head) and the product’s technical specifications. The silicone used is a body-safe grade validated by the FDA. It is possible to use silicone-based lubricant and is IP67 (can go in water up to one metre deep). There are various safety warnings, such as not to use these toys during pregnancy or just after giving birth.
Love. not War. can take back used Power of Love products for recycling. Please do not throw them away with your household waste. A two-year guarantee is available from the date of purchase, and the email address for contacting support and a QR code are provided.
Box contents
Liebe
It’s an 84-gram two-component piece (at least on the outside) made from recycled aluminium and neo-silicone. The aluminium is a grey/pink colour that blends in perfectly with the Power of Love. The silicone part is a deep orange and ends in a protuberance used to press and stimulate the G-spot.
A side note on NeoSilicone
NeoSilicone is currently only available from Love. not War. in the field of sex toys. In the aerospace industry, however, it has been used for a long time. In aviation, the company explains that they need high quality lubrication with durable materials… Sound familiar?
Traditional silicone🦊in the world of sex toys is said to be healthy for the body, but it starts to “melt” when it comes into contact with silicone-based lubricant. It ‘binds’ to the silicone added to it, becoming porous and non-hygenic… The end.
That’s where Love. not War. came up with this formula derived from aerospace needs to make a neosilicone available. Will we see it anywhere else? I’d like to think so. But although Love. not War. has been on the market since early 2022, so far I haven’t seen this neosilicone anywhere else. Why is that? It’s a shame.
Maintenance
All sextoys should be washed before the first use and after each use. In the case of this superb material, silicone, we don’t spoil it either. But taking good care of your toy means respecting yourself and prolonging its life.
To wash it, the Liebe from Love. not War. must be combined with the Power of Love. Then, as it is IP67-rated, you can clean it easily with lukewarm water, mild soap and your fingers. Under no circumstances should you use boiling water, put it in the dishwasher, boil it in a pan, use alcohol or anything else. The electronics inside are not designed to withstand these high temperatures, so I wouldn’t risk it.
Just use lukewarm water, neutral soap and that’s it. That’s enough to remove any bacteria. All that’s left to do is rinse and dry the sextoy before storing it in the protective cover supplied with the Power of Love (and possibly recharging it beforehand for the next use).
Use
You don’t need to be a graduate to use the Liebe – just press the button at the bottom of the Power of Love to switch it on.
The first four models are continuous vibrations of increasing intensity. The next 6 patterns are predefined and have a single intensity. Simply press the button briefly to switch from one model to the next, and press and hold to switch the Liebe off.
The silicone is so soft, it feels really good. If you just want to use it as a clitoral stimulator, without rubbing, you won’t necessarily need to lubricate. However, it’s always better with it. I highly recommend silicone-based lubricants for this toy.
As you read above in the “NeoSilicone aside” section, it’s perfectly possible to use this type of lubricant with this variety of silicone. So seriously, why bother with a water-based lubricant? Take a lube like Uberlube or Encore +🦊. Well after for the latter, it turns out it’s now unavailable in shops….
Put a little lubricant on the soft, flexible head so that you can go on an adventure. Apply a little to the clitoris and off you go! You’re ready to be rocked by the vibrations of the Liebe. Or you can go straight to conquering your G-spot… It’s up to you to orientate the head to reach it and apply the desired pressure.
Technical data
It’s worth noting that despite being used continuously for over an hour and a half, the engine showed no signs of overheating… And yes! And yes, it lasted almost an hour and a half of continuous use at maximum power. I think that’s very impressive.
When the Liebe from Love. not War. is used for external stimulation, the sound power is 42 to 52 dB maximum. It’s silent. And when used internally, it’s barely audible.
Impressions of Wifey
The Liebe sat on top of the toy box near the bed for a while. And despite the fact that it was designed to stimulate the G-spot… Fate decided otherwise for her.
As a clitoral stimulator, it suited her needs perfectly and she was delighted. The vibration levels were well thought out and very effective. She also liked the vibration patterns available.
When it came to playing with the G-spot, things were different. First of all, Wifey isn’t an avid user of sex toys. She uses them sparingly… And generally, she doesn’t really enjoy playing with the G-spot. The reason for this is both anatomical and psychological. As the G-spot is very close to the urethra, she feels the need to urinate… This causes her considerable discomfort and prevents her from enjoying the moment, putting an end to her pleasure. At least, that’s what I can tell you from my first tests with the Njoy Pure Wand🛒… It’s a different story with the Liebe.
Although she greatly appreciates the discretion of the toy, the volume of sound generated and the intuitive button for changing models… Once the Liebe had been inserted, she told me that she found it difficult to know if the head was correctly oriented, if she was really pressing on the G-spot… As a result, she asks more questions than she appreciates the toy.
But on the clitoris, the job is done at the desired pace and without leaving it numb!
Availability
Liebe 🛒 has been available in a neo-silicone version since September 2023.
One size fits all, so the price will stay that way too: €49.99 for the head alone. But you can also buy the Power of Love + Liebe combo at €99.99.
Be careful with the codes, I’ve found several but they don’t work very intuitively. WELCOME5 will give you a 10% discount on your basket. WELCOME10 or AW10 will reduce the price of the heads by around 10%. After that, the aim is for you to make savings, not necessarily for it to be easy to understand.
Let’s stop with these incomprehensible codes and go straight to LRT20, which offers you 20% off! Simple and effective: just like Liebe from Love. not War..
Conclusion
The Liebe from Love. not War. is sold as a G-spot stimulator and to say that it hit the bull’s-eye would be a lie. On the other hand, it shouldn’t be considered a failure. It didn’t work with her, but it could work with you. As far as she’s concerned, it’s a very good clitoral stimulator. I wonder how successful the Laska or the Meil would have been, as their shape might have been better for this purpose.
I’m not the main user, but the Liebe charmed me. Firstly, because you can combine it with silicone-based lubricant (and I love this type of lubricant). Then there’s the fact that it’s well thought-out, more environmentally friendly and fits well in the hand. Even though, with the lubricant, the grip can slip a little. The battery life is excellent and it recharges very quickly.
I can’t wait to see other sex toys made from this neo-sillicone. To be able to replace some of our dildos for good, and possibly see a collaboration with Zveotec’s Sen…
